- Time: 30 min
- Level: Easy
Steps
Reminder: a disc bedded in with a certain type of pad will only be compatible with that type until it is replaced.
- Perform a series of 20 moderate braking actions from 20 to 5 km/h. It is important not to stop between braking actions in order to ventilate the MTB disc and the calliper properly.
- Then stop to let your brake cool down for 15 minutes.
Probikeshop tip: take the opportunity to ride back up the hill!
- Now perform a series of 10 more forceful braking actions, without coming to a complete stop, from 30 to 5 km/h. It is important not to stop between braking actions in order to ventilate the disc and the calliper properly.
- Move on to the other brake by repeating steps 1 to 3.
