After a turbulent period at the end of 2023, Probikeshop was back on the road in January 2024. But it's not just a name that has survived: it's a team of enthusiasts who have pulled together.

To tell you the truth, this rebirth is a story of friendship and loyalty. Olivier, our founderThe company's founder, Ken (founder and owner of Troika), took the helm again. Together, they decided to start with a core group of 15 employeesall from the previous team, with an average of 8 years in the company. So we're still the same people, settled in our offices on Quai Rambaud in Lyon, where the heart of the brand was already beating.

Today, we have already shipped over 300,000 orders since our relaunch. We're moving forward humbly, step by step, to once again offer you the reference catalog (already over 40,000 products!) and the service you deserve.

Behind this renaissance lie Olivier Rochonthe historic founder of Probikeshop. He couldn't bring himself to see the adventure end there. To relaunch his brand, he teamed up with Ken Gesslerhis lifelong friend and owner of the Troika company.

It's no coincidence that this duo was born: Ken was already working with Olivier when Probikeshop was first launched in 2005. It's a return to our roots, with faces we know well, far from the big financial groups.

To support us in this major challenge, we are also fortunate to have a partner of choice: Snowleader(through its logistics subsidiary Robloch'log) another major outdoor player in our region. They bring us their logistical expertise to ensure that your parcels reach you in the best possible conditions.

But the most important thing for us is that the operational team is made up of 100% adventure alumnibased in our historic offices in Lyon. It's these 15 enthusiasts, with an average of 8 years' experience, who keep the heart of the "new" Probikeshop beating on a daily basis.

It's an understandable confusion, but the nuance is important: Probikeshop has never been liquidated.

In October 2023, following the difficulties of our former shareholder (the German SSU group), the company was placed in legal redress. This stage, though difficult, is precisely a protection procedure that has enabled us to look for solutions to save the brand and its jobs.

Thanks to the mobilization of our founder Olivier and his friend Ken, a takeover plan was validated by the Commercial Court in December 2023. This enabled us to :

Avoid liquidation - which would have meant the definitive end of the Probikeshop brand.

Protecting our customers At the time of transition, all customers with outstanding orders were reimbursed.

To relaunch the adventure: Since January 2024, we've been back on a sound footing, with a team of 15 historic enthusiasts and a new French logistics partner, Snowleader.

Today, with over 300,000 orders filled since the takeover, this period is behind us.

We are looking to the future to continue offering you the best in cyclingwith the same passion as in 2005.

The Olivier Rochon who founded Probikeshop in 2005. A cycling enthusiast and entrepreneur at heart, he has carried the brand for almost 20 years.

What makes the current adventure so special is that Olivier is always therea daily presence in our offices.

To relaunch the brand in January 2024, he has enlisted the help of his lifelong friend, Ken Gessler (who supported him when the company first took off in 2005).

But beyond Olivier, a whole "hard core" has remained loyal:
