"Quick review of the brake pads. They came standard on my mountain bike, and I had no issues with braking power or anything else. But after three months and the onset of muddy conditions, the rear pad showed significant wear. When I took them apart, the pad was almost down to the backing plate on one side, and on the other, there was no pad material left. Anyway, I’m switching to metal pads for the winter."
