The Chorus' smooth, highly precise shifting is due to its design, which separates the upper from the lower half-plate, eliminating idle travel for responsive, immediate upshifting. The fork is designed to avoid friction at maximum chain crossover. To optimize compatibility with frames and tires (up to 32 mm cross-section), this derailleur features a double cable clamp.
