"The serration fits precisely into the cassette and Centerlock disc nuts (for certain compatible wheels, such as Novatec 24s). The 1/2"" square hole is very useful for use with a dynamo wrench. The only thing missing is a central guide, as it's difficult to keep it perfectly aligned during tightening."
