The DT SWISS FR 1500 CLASSIC rear wheel has been developed to withstand the most demanding stresses encountered in downhill and freeride riding. Thanks to its new rim profile, it combines robustness and weight reduction for more dynamic handling on the trail.

Made from aluminium, the rim incorporates localised reinforcements that increase its resistance to impacts. The redesigned sidewalls also improve protection against pinch flats, an essential point for riders tackling rough terrain. This design maintains excellent stability while minimising disruptions caused by mechanical incidents.

The wheel is equipped with the DT Swiss 240 hub combined with Ratchet EXP 36 technology. This combination ensures reliable and durable power transmission, even in the most demanding conditions. The DT Competition® spoke lacing with DT ProLock nipples helps maintain spoke tension over time and preserve the overall stiffness of the wheel.
