In this new version, the spoke count has been reduced to 28 spokes, enabling weight savings while retaining the robustness essential for Freeride and Downhill use. This configuration promotes a more responsive steering feel and better reactivity during weight transfers.

The aluminium rim benefits from the new profile developed by DT Swiss. Thanks to optimised material distribution across strategic areas, it improves impact resistance while reducing the risk of pinch flats. This evolution directly contributes to increased rider confidence when lines become more committed.

At the heart of the wheel sits the DT Swiss 240 hub, renowned for its reliability on the international downhill circuit. The DT Competition® spokes in turn provide excellent tracking and stiffness suited to extreme demands.

Compatible with Tubeless Ready setups, the FR 1500 CLASSIC front wheel features an internal width of 30 mm, ideal for making the most of modern downhill and freeride tyres.
