FINISH LINE Fiber Grip™ Grease is a mounting gel specially formulated to increase friction between the surfaces of carbon fiber components. By creating a secure micro-meshing, it prevents slippage of seatposts, hangers and stems, even under high stress.
This high-volume 450g format is ideal for enthusiastic mechanics, clubs or bike shops. It enables the right amount of product to be applied to a wide range of bikes, ensuring that each assembly complies with the manufacturer's recommendations, while avoiding over-tightening, often fatal for carbon structures.
Is it grease? No, it's the opposite of grease. Where a grease lubricates to make the parts slide, Fiber Grip™ creates friction to lock them in place. Never use it on bearings or threads.
How much should I use? A thin, even coat over the contact area is more than enough. With this 450g pot, you can equip dozens of complete bikes.
Can I use it on an aluminum seatpost in a carbon frame? Absolutely. In fact, it's highly recommended, to prevent the seatpost from drooping during your rides or jamming permanently in the frame over time.
