Thanks to its innovative design, it retains familiar travel and geometry while offering stiffness and performance worthy of double-tee models.
The absence of an arch on an inverted fork has historically posed a challenge in terms of stiffness. FOX has responded with an oversized steel Boost DH axle (20 x 110 mm), guaranteeing optimum torsional rigidity. This technical choice has been validated by extensive blind tests carried out by FOX engineers and athletes.
The air spring GlideCore air spring reduces friction by dynamically adapting to loads. Thanks to large-diameter nitrile bushes, it controls lateral and axial movements, ensuring smoother suspension action and limiting fatigue on long descents.
The shock absorber GRIP X2shock absorber is custom-tuned. It offers more compression support to compensate for the low friction of the chassis. The result: the rider stays higher in the travel, gains traction in corners and retains energy longer.
