GoPro Mount Extension for Bike Computer Mount KOM CYCLING

The KOM Cycling GoPro Extender Link is a small high-strength composite extension piece designed to offer more flexibility and space for your cycling accessories. If you use a "Combo" computer mount (which accommodates the computer on top and a camera or light underneath), you have probably already found that some large lights or cameras lack clearance and end up hitting your handlebar or brake cables.

This adapter solves the problem by extending the GoPro-type mounting point (three-prong / two-prong). It allows you to lower and slightly offset your equipment to free up space, giving you the freedom to adjust the tilt of your camera or the beam of your lighting optimally, without any interference.

Does this extension not add vibration to the image when filming on a MTB or on Gravel? The composite used by KOM Cycling is particularly rigid to limit this phenomenon. However, any extension slightly increases the lever arm. On road and classic Gravel, the internal stabilisation of modern cameras (such as GoPro Hypersmooth) perfectly smooths out micro-oscillations. For very rough MTB riding, make sure to firmly tighten the fixing screw.

Can it be used to mount a large front light under the computer? Yes, that is one of its main uses. Many powerful lights have a long body that hits the stem when trying to centre them under the computer. The GoPro Extender Link provides the few extra millimetres of clearance needed to cleanly install your light right at the centre of your cockpit.

Is the clamping screw included with the extension? Generally, this type of extension uses the clamping screws already supplied with your camera or combo mount. Remember to reuse your GoPro thumb screws or your original through-bolts to secure the assembly.
