Description

The POC OTOCON RACE MIPS MTB helmet is designed to offer lightweight, high-performance all-round protection for enduro and downhill riding. Weighing less than 750 g, it combines safety, ventilation and comfort for committed outings. Its design incorporates MIPS® Integra technology, designed to reduce rotational forces on impact and improve head protection in the event of a fall.

Designed for technical terrain, this helmet features an advanced construction combining EPS and EPP bi-material lining to balance lightness, durability and shock absorption. Aramid bridges reinforce the structure and improve resistance to penetrating objects, while the injection-molded cage enhances overall stability. The Race Lock adjustment system ensures a precise, secure fit while riding.

The POC OTOCON RACE MIPS MTB helmet also incorporates technologies dedicated to safety and comfort. The twICEme® NFC chip records medical information that can be accessed via smartphone in the event of an emergency, while the RECCO® reflector makes it easier for emergency services to locate you. Internal ventilation channels and removable cheek pads improve air circulation and comfort, even on long enduro rides.

Informations techniques

Mips Integra seamlessly integrates rotational impact protection into the helmet, almost invisibly.
Bi-material lining:
EPP integrated into the lower part of the helmet enhances strength and durability, while an EPS stem keeps the overall weight down.
Injection-molded lining:
The lower part of the lining features an injection-molded cage for added strength and stability.
PC shell:
The outer shell is made from PC for exceptional durability.
Aramid bridges are molded onto the helmet lining to reinforce structural stability and improve protection against penetrating objects.
Race Lock:
The integrated Race Lock adjuster makes it easy to find a comfortable, secure fit.
Breakaway visor:
A patented detachable visor detaches from the helmet in the event of a fall, enhancing neck protection. The smooth underside is designed to accommodate a GoPro mount.
Highly ventilated:
Ventilation is optimized to channel air through the helmet for comfort at both high and low speeds.
Removable cheek pads:
The cheek pads are easily removed during riding, offering extra ventilation on the climbs between stages of enduro racing.
Removable grill:
The chin guard grille protects the face from mud splashes. It can be removed for better air circulation in warmer, drier conditions.
NFC medical identification supplied by twICEme®.
RECCO® reflector helps emergency services locate you quickly and easily in the event of a problem.
Certifications EN1078, CPSC1203, AS/NZS2063, ASTM F192, ASTM 2032. All sizes except XS also comply with the NTA 8776 standard for electric bicycles.
