The knob design is optimised for excellent grip on hard ground when braking and maximum lateral traction on technical terrain.

Ultra-durable thanks to its 60 TPI Exo casing, the Dissector is also equipped in this version with the MaxxTerra triple compound blend offering an excellent compromise with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed, and superior performance to MaxxGrip.

Okay in rear mounting, to be retested in front

"Mounted in 2. 4 front and rear on Norco Optic C1 in committed All Mountain use, not really conclusive at the front (weird feeling and puncture/pinch first outing), replaced at the front by DHF 2. 5 which even worn provides a better feeling even worn to 50% No worries at the rear, good traction without penalizing performance and effective braking."

Very good tire for dry conditions

"The tire is good in WT . Good fairly rolling tire but not as grippy as the DHR minion."

Toine (4/5)

Great rear tire.

"Used as a rear mount (with MAXXIS MINION DHFs on the front), excellent grip for the trails of Haute Savoie. Highly recommend."

A good front tire for committed trail riding

"I mounted it as a front tire on a Trail 120-120 bike. I was looking for a front tire with volume to absorb the rocks we have around Grenoble, and therefore give me more safety. I had seen a manufacturer who had mounted it on the front, whereas it's considered more of a rear tire. On the rear, the manufacturer had fitted a more rolling tire like the one I also have. The result is what I expected. What's more, it's not too heavy for this category of tire. So far, I've been testing it on dry or slightly damp roads. I'm waiting to see how it performs on large, slippery slabs: I'm not sure it's at ease with its big lateral studs, which seem to be able to slide off if you take an angle on slippery hard surfaces."
