Description
Dedicated to aggressive riders, the MAXXIS Minion DHR II 29x2.40WT Downhill 2-Ply 3C MaxxTerra folding bead tyre is designed for Downhill competition on dry to loose terrain. In this Wide Trail (WT) version, it is optimised for rims between 30 and 35 mm wide.
Completely redesigned, it offers further improved performance in acceleration, cornering and braking. The wide side knobs facilitate turn initiation, while the denser grooved centre tread offers better rolling efficiency and excellent control.
The DH casing is double-ply and reinforced with a butyl insert for better protection and increased sidewall rigidity. The MaxxTerra triple rubber compound also offers an excellent compromise with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed and better rolling efficiency than MaxxGrip.
In this version, it features the Exo+ reinforcement, which combines Exo and SilkShield protection for total defence against abrasion and tears, and can be mounted with or without an inner tube.
