Inspired by the Ikon, the MAXXIS Rekon tyre 29x2.60 Exo 3C MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready with folding bead is, like it, intended for competition Cross-Country, but it is designed for highly technical terrain requiring more grip and control. Its taller knobs are also larger and fewer than those of the Ikon.
Featuring a supple 120 tpi casing, this version uses the triple MaxxTerra rubber compound, offering an excellent compromise with better traction and more grip than the MaxxSpeed, and superior rolling efficiency compared to the MaxxGrip.
In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be mounted with or without an inner tube, this tyre is also equipped with Exo reinforcement on the sidewalls, providing additional protection against abrasion and tears.
