Inspired by the Ikon, the tire MTB MAXXIS Rekon Race 29x2.35" Exo SkinWall Tubeless Ready soft-rod is, like it, designed for competition Cross-Countrybut is designed for highly technical, rolling terrain requiring greater grip and performance. Its studs are smaller and more numerous than those of the Ikon.
Equipped with a robust 60 tpi carcass, this version features the Dual tread compound, which enhances performance. This combines two types of rubber: a hard underlay and a softer surface, for a controlled ride.
In this version Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, also features Exo sidewall reinforcement for extra protection against abrasion and tearing.

Pneu très roulant, un
"Pneu très roulant, un grip un peu moindre mais très polyvalent en soit ! Je l'utilise toute l'année pour une pratique type XC et j'en suis très satisfait ! Par sol sec, dans la boue, sur la route . . . J'ai eu quand même un éclatement de pneu dans une descente à haute vitesse mais ça ce n'est pas de la faute du pneu ! Cette version Tanwall est certes seulement esthétique mais quand on a un cadre noir ça permet de faire un rendu biton intéressant !"
