Description

The frame Meybo Holeshot 2026 is the preferred choice of club riders and national competitors seeking the efficiency of a World Cup geometry in a premium aluminium structure. Built from 6061-T6 aluminium with hydroformed variable-thickness tubes, this frame offers an excellent balance between remarkable lightness and proven stiffness on the most demanding tracks.

The Holeshot shares the design principles and dynamic behaviour of the brand's top-of-the-range carbon models. It incorporates cutting-edge technical details such as oversized rear chainstays to optimise power transfer during pedalling, as well as a tapered head tube for an ultra-precise front end. Its finish delivers a classic "Racing" style — clean, refined and highly elegant.

What is the main difference between the Meybo Holeshot (Alu) and the Meybo HSX (Carbon)? The Holeshot uses 6061-T6 aluminium, which offers excellent stiffness and outstanding durability at a price far more accessible than carbon. Although carbon is slightly lighter and stiffer in lateral torsion, the aluminium Holeshot frame delivers a pedalling response extremely close to that of carbon and remains an absolute reference for lining up at the start of a French Cup or a Championship event.

What type of braking can be installed on this Holeshot 2026 frame? Depending on the configuration within the Meybo Holeshot range, the frame includes the necessary mounts for modern, powerful braking. Adult versions are generally optimised to accommodate a disc brake calliper, while some children's sizes remain faithful to the classic V-Brake standard. Be sure to check the specific version for your chosen size in order to match your components accordingly.

Is the standard Euro (BSA) bottom bracket shell an advantage? Yes, for the sizes that feature it, the threaded Euro bottom bracket is particularly appreciated for its reliability, ease of installation and maintenance. It allows the fitting of virtually any BMX Race bottom bracket on the market (24 mm or 30 mm spindles with the appropriate bearings) without any risk of creaking.
