POC PROCEN Road Helmet Matt Black

Designed for intense efforts and time-trial disciplines, the POC PROCEN Road Helmet combines aerodynamics, ventilation and protection to maximise performance. Its design has been optimised through in-depth CFD simulations to improve airflow around the helmet and reduce drag. The airflow is guided according to the Venturi principle, enabling speed to be increased while maintaining excellent thermal control during effort.

The structure combines a lightweight PC outer shell with an EPS liner designed to effectively absorb impacts. This construction offers an optimal balance between lightness, rigidity and safety. A distinct trailing edge further improves aerodynamics by directing air away from the shoulders to maintain smooth airflow around the cyclist, particularly in demanding aerodynamic positions.

The POC PROCEN Road Helmet also integrates an innovative removable visor featuring a Breakaway system for added safety in the event of an impact. This visor has a Starting Position function, allowing it to be placed approximately 10 mm from the helmet to promote air circulation and limit fogging before the start or during effort. It can also be easily removed during a race.

Designed for comfort during prolonged efforts, it features a light and precise adjustment system for a personalised fit. Moulded EVA zones at the rear improve comfort at the nape of the neck, while the wide ventilation channels optimise cooling. The overall design ensures an effective combination of speed, stability and comfort for performance-oriented cyclists.
