Designed for the Japanese manufacturer's top-of-the-range electronic groupsets equipped with hydraulic brakes, the Straight Lever SHIMANO DURA-ACE Di2 R9170 11 Speed is remarkably similar in design to models with standard brakes. It incorporates their comfortable ergonomics, offering enhanced braking control!
On the transmission side, the Dura-Ace Di2 lever has evolved in version 9170: the action on the control is sharper and more precise, for ultra-fast gear changes and improved racing feel. The other innovation is the possibility of synchronizing gears (Synchro Shift technology), inspired by the XTR Di2 off-road model: action on the right-hand control alone automatically adjusts the selection of the right Chainring, to maintain optimum cadence and chain line!
