Description
The THULE VELOSPACE XT 2-Bike Towball Bike Rack is a model that is as simple to use as it is reliable and safe, designed to transport two bikes with peace of mind, whatever they may be, including electric bikes.
Fitting very easily onto the towball thanks to a single clamping handle, this bike rack is designed to support a high loading capacity of up to 30 kg per bike, and to carry wide bikes. Indeed, it features a distance of 25 cm between the wheel holders so that the two bikes do not touch each other. Once placed in the rails, the bikes are secured simply thanks to the removable arms with torque limiters that emit a click when the optimal tightening is reached. Finally, the micrometric straps for holding the wheels are easy to adjust and remarkably effective.
Fitted with a tilting function, operated by foot to keep your hands free, this bike rack allows you to access your boot at any time without having to remove the bikes.
Furthermore, this model is expandable, with the possibility of extending the loading capacity to three bikes by adding an adapter (sold separately).

Very good but can do better
"I use this bike carrier intensively with an electric bike plus pannier (approx. 25 kg) and so far I've had no incidents to deplore. It's solid stuff, though, and I'd say it's a no-brainer. The fact remains that it's expensive and I don't find the anti-theft device to be top-notch, and for the price it's outrageous, because there's always a risk of theft of the bike carrier. That's the big black spot I find in it, which has taken away one star, the rest is faultless. Otherwise I didn't have it stolen, but I would have liked to have had peace of mind on all counts."
