Description
The Power Lever X is a clever innovation from Topeak that merges two sturdy tire levers into a true Master Link clamp. It's the ideal tool for cyclists who want to travel light without sacrificing the ability to repair a broken chain or change a stubborn tire.
Ingeniously designed, the two levers clip together to form a powerful clamp for installing or removing chain quick links (PowerLock, MissingLink, etc.). Once separated, they become efficient tire levers once again. As a bonus, the tool includes a chain hook to hold links in place during repair, and a compartment for storing a spare link.
Does the tool work with 12-speed chains? Yes, the design is compatible with the quick links of modern 11 and 12-speed transmissions, which are often very difficult to clip or unclip by hand.
Can I fit any quick link inside? The slot is universal for standard links. This is an excellent safety feature: your repair tool also carries your spare part.
What's the difference with the "standard" Power Lever? The X version is more robust, incorporating aluminum components for greater leverage and greater pressure to close new links.
