The TOPEAK TubiHead® Upgrade Kit is the solution for anyone struggling with tubeless tire mounting. Tubeless's biggest challenge is to send a massive volume of air at once to "slam" the tire onto the rim. Usually, the Presta valve shell restricts this air flow.
The revolutionary TubiHead® removes the valve shell while remaining connected and perfectly sealed. By completely freeing the valve passage, you multiply the air flow, guaranteeing immediate clipping of even the most recalcitrant tires, without the need for a compressor.
Will this work on my current pump (SKS, Lezyne, etc.)? Yes, Topeak supplies universal thread adapters. As long as your pump has a removable hose at its base, you can install this kit.
Can I still inflate conventional tubed tires? Absolutely. If you don't unscrew the shell, it works like a high-performance Presta pump head.
