The VAR RL-40000-979 cassette-release lever is designed for Shimano HG and Mavic cassettes. It can also be used to tighten and loosen the Shimano XTR M1547 hydraulic disc brake fixing ring.

With its long, lightweight and practical oval aluminum handle, it ensures a comfortable grip. The laser-cut, heat-treated head guarantees high precision. For use with the RL-27000 professional chain whip.
