What does a 120 TPI casing offer compared to a standard tyre? TPI refers to the number of threads per inch in the casing. A 120 TPI tyre uses finer, more tightly woven threads. The tyre is therefore lighter, deforms more readily to follow the track surface (better grip) and offers significantly superior mechanical efficiency compared to an entry-level tyre at 72 or 60 TPI.

Does this tyre accept high inflation pressures? Yes, the Speed Booster Elite casing is designed to withstand the high pressures required in Race (generally up to 6 or 7 bar depending on the size). Always observe the minimum and maximum pressure recommendations moulded into the tyre sidewall to optimise performance without risking a blow-off.
