MTB Tyres 29"

❓1. Why choose a 29-inch tyre and for what type of riding?

• The 29" offers better clearance, stability and efficiency, ideal for XC, trail or all-mountain.
  
• For enduro or bike-park, some riders prefer a mullet (29"/27.5"), but the 29" remains excellent for speed and comfort.

❓2. What width and what tread profile should you choose?

• Width 2.10" to 2.30" → fast rolling, more suited to XC / dry terrain.
• Width 2.35" to 2.50" → increased grip, ideal for trail / all-mountain / enduro.

• Low and tight knobs → compact and dry terrain, seeking efficiency.
• Tall and spaced knobs → mud, technical terrain, roots, rocks.
• Mixed knobs → versatility for varied terrain.

❓3. What casing, what compound and what setup should you choose? (Tubeless vs inner tube)

• Lightweight casing (EXO, S, etc.) → XC, climbing, efficiency.
  
• Reinforced casing (DD, SuperGravity, etc.) → enduro, rocky terrain, descents.

• Hard compound → durability + speed.
  
• Soft compound / dual or triple compound → maximum grip in corners.
  

• Tubeless setup recommended: better grip, fewer punctures, reduced pressure for 29" tyres.
